Stentiford’s Old Vines Shiraz 2016

“The back label says the vines were planted by Captain Stentiford in 1893, and the length and focus of the wine in the mouth speaks eloquently of very old vines. The structure couples with the dark fruits, are the keys to the wine’s quality, though not making oak and tannins irrelevant.”

One Seven One Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

“High quality Coonawarra cabernet at the helm. Deep colour. Intense blackcurrant and mulberry fruit and firm but not aggressive tannins. Oak is not mentioned in the dispatched, but present in what is a high quality wine.”
