2021 Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon

Named in honour of founder Eric Brand, one of the original ‘Blockers’ (landholders who sold their grapes to larger wineries in the 1950s and 60s). Our Blockers Cabernet is one of the icons of our range. Made in classic Coonawarra style, it is the perfect combination of rich fruit, complexity and elegance.

WINEMAKERS NOTES

2021 was a standout vintage for the Coonawarra and the Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon is exceptional. It's deep crimson red in colour with blackberry and back cherry on the nose. The palate is rich and concentrated with a silky texture and great length showing more of the blackberry and cherry notes with dark chocolate and spicy cedar oak.
