2022 Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon

Named in honour of founder Eric Brand, one of the original ‘Blockers’ (landholders who sold their grapes to larger wineries in the 1950s and 60s). Our Blockers Cabernet is one of the icons of our range. Made in classic Coonawarra style, it is the perfect combination of rich fruit, complexity and elegance.

WINEMAKERS NOTES

2022 was an exceptional vintage for Coonawarra, yielding fruit of outstanding quality. This Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep crimson hue, with an expressive bouquet of ripe blackberry, mulberry, and cassis, complemented by nuances of cedary oak. The palate is elegantly structured, showcasing impressive length and balance, with concentrated dark fruit flavors seamlessly integrated with fine, silky tannins.
