2024 Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon

Named in honour of founder Eric Brand, one of the original ‘Blockers’ (landholders who sold their grapes to larger wineries in the 1950s and 60s). Our Blockers Cabernet is one of the icons of our range. Made in classic Coonawarra style, it is the perfect combination of rich fruit, complexity and elegance.

WINEMAKERS NOTES

Showing a deep crimson red hue in the glass, the nose is lifted and expressive, brimming with ripe blackberry, mulberry, and cassis, underpinned by subtle hints of cedary oak. On the palate, it shows elegance and poise, with concentrated dark fruit flavours carried by fine, silky tannins. Impressive length and balance highlight this wine’s classic Coonawarra character and enduring appeal.

Pairs well with lamb cutlets with traditional mint jelly or a hearty steak and mushroom 
pie with chive mashed potatoes.
